THE 2025 Heirloom Tomato Plant Sale will begin
Thursday April 24th at 10:00am
What Makes Heirloom Tomatoes Superior?
Heirloom tomatoes offer a superior alternative for several reasons. Unlike commercial varieties, heirlooms are often grown with an emphasis on flavor rather than shelf life, producing a juicier, more aromatic fruit. Their rich, complex taste is a result of traditional, natural growing methods, often passed down through generations. These tomatoes are typically grown in nutrient-rich, well-balanced soil, rather than the synthetic environments used for mass-produced varieties. With heirlooms, you're not only tasting the difference in flavor, but also supporting sustainable, organic farming practices. Enjoy the authentic, vibrant taste of heirloom tomatoes, free from the chemicals and artificial growth methods used in modern agriculture.
Our Annual Heirloom Ridge Plant Sale is a local spring tradition! All starters are grown at our Heirloom Ridge Farm in Estacada using organic methods. This year, we have an exciting selection of heirloom varieties to choose from!
All plants listed below will be available for purchase in front of the restaurant, with regular restocking on a rolling basis. Combining our hearty plant starts with our proprietary fertilizer blend, "Magic Dust," will lead to fantastic results. This specially formulated blend enhances soil health, promotes vigorous growth, and ensures your plants receive the essential nutrients they need for optimal development.
